Even though the GoPro 8 is still months away from release, some details about the device should have already been released, by now. However, the features are still a mystery, so it makes sense that fans would be clamoring for certain features to be included. Among them are the super suit upgrade, 8K video capture, as well as video + photo capture. These are what many fans are asking for.
With previous GoPro units coming out in September, the GoPro 8 is likely to be released in September of this year, as well, ValueWalk reports. In the weeks leading up to its launch, fans can only hope that there will be more information released, along the way. Among the features that customers are really hoping will be released are the upgraded super suit for the body and video + photo capture.
More than anything else, the real point to getting a GoPro 8 is its high-resolution videos and photos that it captures under the most trying conditions. Included in this is diving down great depths, which the current units are only capable of withstanding up to 33 feet. With the help of the Super Suit, this can be increased to 196 feet. With the GoPro 8, some customers are hoping that it can go even deeper for those extreme deep dives.
There is also the matter of 8K resolution for the GoPro 8 with many clamoring for the ability to capture super high-resolution videos. While there are those who believe that such a high resolution is not really necessary, this does not stop many from asking for it. Then again, current technological limitations might prevent this.
What can be easily adapted for the GoPro 8, however, is the video + photo capture technology that was in the GoPro 5. This was sadly stopped, but the recent iteration of the action camera might finally bring it back.
