Outflow:
- Emerging markets facing tough times as funds flew out for fifth consecutive week. In last week, ending Wednesday $2.5 billion flew out of emerging market equity funds and $20 billion in last five weeks.
- This year alone $31.9 billion has left emerging markets.
- Bond funds registered outflows of $2 billion due to concern over FED rate hike.
- High yield bond funds have seen outflow of $1.3 billion.
- Emerging market bond outflow continued to 9th week, with latest being $0.8 billion.
Inflow:
- $3.7 billion flew into European equity funds, making net yearly inflow more than $90 billion.
