Global Geo-political Series: Trump-Turnbull deny tense talks

Yesterday, we at FxWirePro, reported based on a report by the Washington Post that the last Saturday call between the US President Donald Trump and the Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull did not go well. Reports also suggested that Donald Trump abruptly ended the call in 25 minutes which was scheduled to be an hour long and later described the call as by far the worst among all the five calls he had that day with five world leaders including German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

But, that according to both the leaders are fictional and not based on facts. On Wednesday, the Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull said on Wednesday that the call ended courteously. Today, Mr. Trump tweeted, “Thank you to Prime Minister of Australia for telling the truth about our very civil conversation that FAKE NEWS media lied about. Very nice!"

However, President is definitely not happy with the deal he is stuck with as he is called to honor agreements made by the previous administration. On Wednesday, Mr. Trump tweeted, “Do you believe it? The Obama Administration agreed to take thousands of illegal immigrants from Australia. Why? I will study this dumb deal!”
