GBP review

Western Union notes in a report on Tuesday:

• Sterling was near five-week lows against the greenback, a level that was about a penny away from its weakest since July 2013. 
  
  
• Steady gains for the U.S. currency, coupled with rising political uncertainty in the U.K., have weighed on Britain's currency. Critical U.K. data come due on Wednesday on factory growth and Thursday on trade. 
  
  
• Reports that should offer more evidence of Britain's fairly robust economic fundamental could help brake the pound's fall.
