Not many economic data and events scheduled for today but some with high volatility risks associated.

Data released so far:

  • Australia: Westpac consumer confidence is up by 0.4 percent in July.

Upcoming:

  • United Kingdom: Unemployment report will be released at 8:30 GMT. RICS house price balance report will be published at 23:00 GMT.
     
  • Eurozone: May industrial production report will be published at 9:00 GMT.
     
  • Portugal: CPI inflation report will be published in June.
     
  • United States: MBA mortgage applications report will be released at 11:00 GMT. Fed Chair Janet Yellen will testify before Congress beginning 14:00 GMT. EIA will release weekly crude oil inventory report at 14:30 GMT. Fed will release the Beige book at 18:00 GMT.
     
  • Canada: BoC will announce monetary policy decision at 14:00 GMT, followed by a press conference with the governor at 15:15 GMT.
     
  • New Zealand: Food price index will be updated at 22:45 GMT.
     
  • Auction: U.S. will auction 10-year note at 17:00 GMT.
