FxWirePro: Asian markets marginally higher, gold trades flat $1,496 mark

All the major Asian indices were trading on a higher note on Monday. Gold was trading around $1,496 mark while silver was trading around $16.90 mark.

Australia’s S&P/ASX200 was trading 0.17 pct lower at 6,573.55 points.

Hong Kong's hang seng index was trading 0.01 percent higher at 25,947.48 points.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.43 percent higher at 1,946.92 points.

Taiwan stock was trading 0.03 percent higher at 10,495.44 points.

Thailand, Singapore, Japan and Indian markets will remain closed for the day.
