“Fuller House” season 5 This is not a cancellation. It’s a proper ending to the series has been confirmed to return but the bad news is that it will be the final season. But although this is the last, one of the show’s lead star, Candace Cameron-Bure made it clear that the end does not mean that their show has been scrapped.
The actress said that said that “Fuller House” season 5 was set up to give the show its proper ending thus it cannot be categorized as being canceled. “This is not a cancellation. It’s a proper ending to the series. But I’d be totally game if they wanted to keep going,” she said.
Via “Fuller House” season 5’s farewell announcement, Candace Cameron-Bure also stated that they “We’re saving the best for last” so the upcoming finale will be another memorable sitcom for the cast and the fans as well. Bure also admitted that she actually did not know that the fifth installment would be their last until recently.
And while almost every original cast member agreed to be in the show’s revival again, the Olsen twins – Mary-Kate and Ashley refused to appear in it. Us Weekly reported that Candace Cameron-Bure told them that the twins have no plans of returning even if “Fuller House” season 5 is the final run already.
“They are never coming back on the show! They don't want to be on the show. The answer's no!” she shared.
Additionally, former showrunner, Jeff Franklin, also relayed to TV Line the Olsen twins are not interested in the show anymore. “Personally, I’ve given up asking them. The door is open, but I’m not going to be calling them anymore to invite them,” he said.
Franklin went on to say that he has been inviting the twins for three years already but “they just don’t seem interested in coming.” Meanwhile, Franklin has been fired from the show so he will not be part of “Fuller House” season 5’s production.
“Fuller House” season 5 is returning this fall.
