“Fuller House” season 4 is made extra exciting as several stars from a popular ‘70s TV series are set to guest star in the upcoming episodes. Meanwhile, reports speculate on a premiere date sometime in fall.

The show is a direct sequel to the “Full House” series that ran from 1987 to 1995. “Fuller House” now has its stories focused on the life of the veterinarian D.J. Tanner-Fuller (Candace Cameron Bure) and her struggles of raising three children on her own.

Luckily for fans of the franchise, Netflix ordered a “Fuller House” season 4 with 13 episodes on Jan. 29. However, up to now, the company is yet to announce the show’s exact air date.

Reports speculate, however, that a “Fuller House” season 5 premiere date in the fall is likely to happen if Netflix decides to maintain the previous schedules of airing. It can be recalled that the show’s third season consisted of a total of 18 episodes. However, Netflix decided to release them in two sets of 9 installments, with the first part starting streaming on Sept. 22, 2017.

But since “Fuller House” season 4 has fewer episodes, there is also a chance that it will be released at a much later date this year. Fans may have observed that the second season of the show started streaming in December 2016 while seasons 3’s part 2 was released close to Christmas Day in 2017. The show is a child-oriented program so seeing an air date close to the holidays will also not be surprising.

While the air date of “Fuller House” season 4 remains a mystery, other exciting details have already been revealed. Last month, TV Line reported that D.J., Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin), and Kimmy (Andrea Barber) are going on a dinner cruise intended for elderly customers. This is where the ladies will reportedly meet two formerly married characters named James and Millie, who will be played by Lee Majors and Lindsay Wagner, respectively.

Fans of classic American TV shows will recall that Majors and Wagner both played key roles in the hit ‘70s sci-fi series “The Six Million Dollar Man.” As a nod to the said show, a bit of backstory for the “Fuller House” season 4 guest characters James and Millie include running their own detective agency.
