“Frozen 2” is long overdue but the good news is that the wait will be over soon. Disney announced the release date, so the assurance of its arrival is already there and no need to worry for cancellation.
Moreover, the official trailers for “Frozen 2” was also posted, and they offered a glimpse of what is to come with regards to the sequel of the blockbuster animation that first hit the theaters in 2013. It launched the song “Let It Go” to stardom and almost became the national anthem for most countries, and the upcoming sequel is expected to produce the same caliber of song pieces.
The movie plot
While the trailers are already out, it is still quite hard to determine what the main plot is. Disney is not mentioning about it either so the viewers can only make a guess based on what was shown in the “Frozen 2” video teaser. Few theories were formed, and they are the following.
What is Elsa and Anna’s mission?
In the second trailer, Elsa and Anna were shown traveling, and they are heading to the Enchanted Lands. There was also a part where it was mentioned that they are on a mission, but what this could be is unclear. The theory is that they are out on a journey to reveal the secrets of Elsa’s power.
It was also suggested that Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf are heading to the “north, across the enchanted lands, to protect Arendelle from some unknown threat.” This could also be their mission, to find some kind of power or anything that will help them fight off their still unidentified enemies in “Frozen 2.”
Elsa and Anna’s parent’s fate
Another possibility for their journey is that they are looking for answers with regards to their parents, King Agnarr and Queen Iduna, who could be alive. They may be trying to know the truth about their parent’s “death” and may discover some dark secrets in their quest.
As discussed in a podcast, the clue that tells that they may be looking for their mother and father is the scene where Elsa is trying to battle the waves as she tries to walk over the ocean water since her parents supposedly died after their ship sunk.
“Frozen 2” will be out in theaters on Nov. 22.
