Freewallet releases mobile-first Lisk Wallet for Android, iOS app to follow soon

Expanding its family of mobile-first cryptocurrency wallets, Freewallet has announced that Lisk Wallet has been released on Google Play and will soon be published on Apple App Store.

Recently, Freewallet has promoted beta testing of two new apps on Twitter: Dogecoin Wallet and Lisk Wallet. According to Freewallet, both coins were supported by their communities, but Lisk wallet received a warmer welcome, as there was no easy-to-use solution for LSK assets management until now.

The firm said that as with other wallet apps, Lisk wallet is also empowered with smart features and live customer assistance. It will give majority of Lisk investors an opportunity to support the big idea of blockchain applications.

While Freewallet is mostly focused on new altcoins with big promising ideas, it says that the “biggest star” in its portfolio is Ethereum Wallet. It sees great potential in Lisk, and believes that it will utilize blockchain in an astonishing new way. Freewallet noted the growth in Blockchain applications or DAPPs (currently 246, as listed here) and expects the trend to get a new twist with Lisk.

“As Lisk is mostly focused on developing a platform for blockchain applications, we can take part in their revolutionary ideas, by providing the front-end for end-users. I chatted with Max - Lisk founder, and as it turns out, both of us have a similar vision on creating a marketplace for blockchain applications”, Alvin Hagg, Freewallet founder, said in a statement.

Besides releasing new wallets, Freewallet team has also extended the functionality of their apps by adding a new “Smart Pay Out” feature. Smart Pay Out allows anyone to convert a specific cryptocurrency into almost any other existing cryptocurrency directly from the app. For example, a user can send coins from their Freewallet Ethereum wallet directly to any different cryptocurrency wallet (address), like Litecoin, Dash, and others. Moreover, if a user sends coins between different Freewallet apps, the transaction will be transferred instantly.
