The official release date of “Food Wars” season 4 is still a big mystery. But the anime series has maintained the major plot points from the manga series that very eager fans can learn at this point the most likely results of the ongoing Rebels vs. Central Régiment de Cuisine.
Once “Food Wars” season 4 comes out, it will continue the story based on the manga series Promotion Exams arc — particularly the Rebels vs. Central Régiment de Cuisine. This is also a series of cooking duels between two opposing teams but it is rather less formal compared to a shokugeki.
To recap, it is the Rebels’ goal to win the Régiment de Cuisine to let the expelled students go back to the academy. If they win, they also get to disband the Central to give all students a more fair playing field in the academy in “Food Wars” season 4.
The Régiment de Cuisine will have five bouts each having three matchup cards except for the final stage. “Food Wars” season 4 will open with the 2nd Bout where Rebels’ Kuga, Megishima, and Subaru will fight Tsukasa, Rindo, and Somei, respectively. If the Rebels dominated the 1st Bout, this one will be totally won by the Central making the competition even.
Both Central and Rebels will experience wins and losses in the 3rd and 4th Bout in “Food Wars” season 4. But, in the end, the undefeated cooks will be Soma and Erina for the Rebels and Tsukasa and Rindo for the Central.
As expected, the Rebels will ultimately win this Régiment de Cuisine in “Food Wars” season 4 which will be great news. Otherwise, all of them will be expelled and Erina will be forced to join the Central. This result also means Azami Nakamura has to leave the academy as headmaster in “Food Wars” season 4 while members of Central who are also in the Elite Ten Council will step down.
Fans have yet to hear any official update on “Food Wars” season 4 release date. But there are speculations it could premiere in summer.
