There are a lot of questions with regards to “Food Wars” Season 4 that have hardcore fans concerned. Will the show skip over some of the most important backstory details that were present in the manga once again? Will there be enough source material for the animators to work with? These are the concerns that viewers have with regards to the season, in which the premiere date has yet to be announced.
During the third season of the show, a lot of fans were quick to point out that there were a lot of things that the anime left out. One of the most obvious was the information with regards to the Elite Council of Ten. In the manga, there were more details shared to explain the members of the group, which the anime skipped. Instead, the information was shared via an OVA. Now, viewers are concerned that the same thing will happen in “Food Wars” Season 4.
Other than the worries with regards to details getting skipped, however, there are also many who are apprehensive of the possibility that there might not be enough source material to work with. Fortunately, the animators of “Food Wars” Season 4 have a lot of chapters of the manga to base on since there more than enough of those to make up an entire season.
After all, the third season of the anime essentially comprised only 54 chapters. Between the chapters used for the third plate and the upcoming “Food Wars” Season 4, the numbers already go beyond that. There is also the fact that making the anime will not exactly be a speedy endeavor, so there is plenty of time for the manga to provide more chapters to work with.
As for when “Food Wars” Season 4 will premiere, this has yet to be announced. Assuming that the animators worked on the new season as soon as the third one ended, the show could return late this year or early 2020.
