OVERLAND PARK, Kan. and DALLAS, Oct. 11, 2017 -- FireMon, the industry’s leading provider of Intelligent Security Management solutions, today announced the launch of its new FireMon Ignite Partner Program. The refreshed Ignite Partner Program aims to engage new and existing partners with a consistent, easy-to-navigate path to growth through a combination of systems, tools and field resources that enable partners to deliver automated, intelligent security management solutions to their global customers.
FireMon has built upon its already five-star Ignite Partner Program with global program tiers that align with the individual partner requirements based on their market, goals and objectives. The program has also been expanded to include all routes to market including resellers, distributors and Managed Service Providers (MSPs).
The refresh is anchored by a state-of-the-art, mobile-friendly partner portal that gives partners direct access to sales tools, deal registrations and ready-made marketing campaigns. Another focus of the revamp has been eLearning – a priority for FireMon’s VP of Worldwide Channel Sales & Operations, Kurt Mills, since he joined the company last year. As such, the new Ignite Partner Program includes two new online, self-paced courses for technical and sales resources as well as an advanced, bootcamp-style course led by a FireMon instructor.
“By creating a mobile, flexible learning experience with certification opportunities and a business-oriented curriculum, we’re enabling our partners to adapt to the rapidly changing demands of their customers,” Mills explained. “FireMon is focused on providing our partners a program that allows them to solve customer problems, grow their business and ultimately be successful.”
FireMon has seen some early success as it has rolled out these new systems and tools to partners. Portal logins and account creation is up 265% compared to the same timeframe in 2016. Deal registrations have increased 25% year over year.
“I really appreciate FireMon’s continued efforts to develop an innovative and friendly eLearning tool,” said Paola Vidal, Project Manager, Secure Sense. “It helps us to understand how to configure and use all of its features and provide our customers with better support at the same time.”
Key to the ongoing success of the Ignite Partner Program will be consistent engagement with partners. This includes increasing lines of communication via email, events and virtual town hall meetings as well as alignment of field resources to have maximum reach and impact at the global level. To that end, Mills has appointed James Frost as Channel Director, EMEA, who will be vital to communicating and forming strategic alliances with partners in EMEA, and Arthur Woo as Channel Manager for the APAC region.
“Our goal is to ensure that everyone who joins our partner network gets the support they need to sell at the enterprise level,” said Mills. “I can say with confidence that we have delivered on that goal with a fully staffed, experienced channel team in North America and abroad.”
