It is not too late to develop new relationships among old and new characters and it is one of the highlights that fans can expect from “Fear the Walking Dead” season 4B. This was confirmed by cast members who attended the San Diego Comic-Con last week.
The show has been on a hiatus after airing its eighth episode on June 10. When “Fear the Walking Dead” season 4B begins, the characters will have been in an intensely dramatic series of struggles. But, as the show returns, it seems like they are now on the path of moving on together. And in the process, new relationships are going to be introduced to fans.
During an SDCC interview with ComicBook, actress Alycia Debnam-Carey revealed that there will be “a lot of interesting pairings” in “Fear the Walking Dead” season 4B. Debnam-Carey plays the role of Alicia Clark who, until Morgan Jones’ (Lennie James) intervention in episode 8, used to have a vengeful heart.
“Everybody sort of is a loner but we start to have really interesting pairings of people that you wouldn't expect. It goes back to the fact that we're all orphans, now, of the apocalypse,” Debnam-Carey added.
Meanwhile, a trailer for “Fear the Walking Dead” season 4B was also unveiled during the SDCC week. It somehow represents how the characters went through some of the toughest challenges in the previous episode and the changes that they have to deal with in the upcoming episodes.
One of the obvious changes in “Fear the Walking Dead” season 4B is the arrival of new characters. While seeing new relationships flourish is interesting, it is also very intriguing how these new faces will affect the existing characters.
Some of the new cast members joining “Fear the Walking Dead” season 4B were introduced at the SDCC, namely Aaron Stanford, Mo Collins, and Stephen Henderson. Unfortunately, details of their roles are still under wraps.
Fans do not have to wait much longer for the return of “Fear the Walking Dead” season 4B. The second-half installment will start airing on Sunday, Aug. 12 on AMC.
