Fayetteville, North Carolina, Sept. 26, 2017 -- According to a solicitation released on Tuesday, September 26, the Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), Fayetteville Health Care Clinic (HCC), requires a contractor to park and/or provide assistance in parking to veteran patients.
The contractor who receives the contract must provide valet parking services five days per week during normal clinic hours. Services include delivering wheelchairs to cars, when a patient or his or her caretaker request one, and then facilitate the person’s travel from the car to the valet greeting area, the appointment, and then back to the car.
The government will provide wheelchairs for the contractor to use, and the contractor will be completely liable and responsible for providing patients with a valet claim check, securing keys, parking, delivering, and directing certain valet vehicles to and from the valet greeting area.
Only service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses can submit responses for the opportunity. The NAICS Code for this procurement 812930 - Parking Lots and Garages, with a maximum small business size standard of $38.5 million.
