LENEXA, Kan., Sept. 13, 2017 -- Executive Flight Services expands its range of services through a growing portfolio of managed aircraft. Today it announced the addition of a new Embraer Legacy 500 and a Phenom 100 EV. By bringing both sophisticated aircraft into its management stable, EFS enhances its turnkey management capabilities, offering clients greater experience in piloting and maintaining new aviation technology.
Executive Flight Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Executive AirShare, takes possession of one of the first Phenom 100 EVs delivered by Embraer. It is also the first to join a fleet program. The aircraft is located in the Kansas City area.
“The utility and overall performance of the Phenom 100 has been exceptional,” says Keith Plumb, Executive Flight Services president and CEO. “The 100 EV takes Embraer’s technological advances to the next level with the Garmin touchscreen flight deck, and operational enhancements in hot and high conditions. Our pilots are eager to realize the benefits for the owner.”
The Legacy 500, based in a recently expanded facility at Fort Worth Meacham Airport, also joins the Executive Flight Services charter fleet. Executive Flight Services now serves the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex with four charter aircraft.
“The Legacy 500’s perfectly positioned for both the owner and charter customers,” says Chief Operating Officer Harry Mitchel. “Our years of commitment in expanding our infrastructure and facilities have paid off. With that investment, our Embraer maintenance experts are able to reduce downtime considerably and keep each aircraft finely tuned and ready for service whenever they’re needed.”
Executive Flight Services has been providing full service aircraft management for more than 20 years.
“We’re very pleased to expand our partnership of nearly a decade since the Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 joined the Executive AirShare fleet,” says Michael Amalfitano, President and CEO, Embraer Executive Jets. “Executive Flight Services took delivery of the first Phenom 300 manufactured in 2009, and we are honored that they will now manage our next-generation Phenom 100 EV as well as our Legacy 500 to deliver even greater value to their customers.”
