Everex releases independent Ethereum-based smart contract ‘Chainy’

Innovative fintech and blockchain development company Everex has announced the launch of the Chainy service, which is an independent Ethereum-based smart contract.

Chainy’s data exists for as long as the blockchain lives and it is independent of anything or anybody. All previously stored proofs and data will be available via the Ethereum API. The stored proofs and data will be available forever, through Mist or some other open-source viewer.

“Using short links is a great way for hackers and malware operators to send you to a phishing or malware-infected site, instead of your favorite cookie recipe. Chainy solves this problem with the help of an Ethereum smart contract,” the release stated.

There are three steps involves in which firstly to create a record in the contract, its method must be called and parameters in a JSON structure are passed to create a recording contract in a public format. This record results in the creation of a unique short code, which then becomes an index of your records in the blockchain. Secondly, to retrieve the saved data, users can at any time send a query to the same contract using the unique short code created earlier. Finally, the users can read the JSON structure itself, the creation date of the transaction, and the address from which it was created. These can be done by using software such as the official Ethereum Mist client.

Chainy is the latest Ethereum product from Everex, the creators of cryptocash and Ethplorer.io. Everex is committed to Ethereum and develops services to improve that ecosystem – and transform the global economy.
