EZ economic sentiment probably rose again in Feb: Capital Economics

Quotes from Capital Economics:

- The EC's Economic Sentiment Indicator (ESI) (10.00 GMT) is likely to have risen again in February, but the stand-off over Greece may mean the improvement is short-lived.

- The ESI rose to 101.2 in January after holding steady at 100.7 throughout Q4, presumably reflecting the drop in the oil price, a weaker euro and the prospect of quantitative easing in the euro-zone.

- We suspect that these drivers will have helped to induce another rise in sentiment in February. But any increase may have been tempered by growing worries about Greece. On balance, we think that the ESI may have risen to around 101.7.
