Drake and Rihanna have a long history of dating but they still did not end up together. But despite this, the rapper confessed that he loves Rihanna and she is probably the only woman he loved for a long time.
According to Hollywood Life, Drake even said at one point that he felt he already wanted to have a family with Rihanna but things did not go as he liked them to.
“As life takes shape and teaches you your own lessons, I end up in this situation where I don’t have the fairy tale, like, ‘Oh, Drake started a family with Rihanna and this is like so perfect’…it looks so good on paper,” HL quoted the 31-year-old rapper as saying.
Now, while his dream of starting a family with Rihanna did not materialize, Drake ended up having a lovechild with another woman. In June, he admitted to fathering the child of the former porn star Sophie Brussaux. The baby, Adonis, was born in October last year but it was only in June when Drake publicly confirmed the rumors that he has a child.
The rapper made the shocking reveal via his track “March 14,” which was released in June 2018. Since revealing the truth, Drake has been more open about his son nowadays. In fact, he recently talked about Adonis and even showed his picture in an episode of LeBron James’s show “The Shop.”
“He has crazy blue eyes — baby blue eyes. He’s already in the pool shooting the basketball,” People quoted the rapper as saying.
He added that in his fatherhood, he is just very excited to apply everything that he learned from his father and mother. He also talked about unconditional love since the mother of his son was not really his lover when she got pregnant.
“But I don’t have any desire for him to not love his mother. I don’t ever want the world to be angry at his mother,” Drake said. “No matter what happens, I have unconditional love for the mother of my child because I want him to love his mother and I have to project that energy.”
