Looks like the second game in the “Dragon Ball Xenoverse” series is getting a new mode in the near future. According to a report from Gematsu, the latest issue of Japanese magazine V-Jump has revealed that Bandai Namco is adding a new feature called My Raid Mode to “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2,” and it will probably be added to the game this winter via an update.
“In My Raid Mode, the player becomes a Supervillain raid boss by using a new item called ‘Crystal of the Dark Demon Realm,’ and a one-versus-five battle against other players unfolds. Limited to this mode, Fused Zamasu, Demigra, and Mira are playable characters. The winning side will be able to receive a large amount of experience, Zenny, and event-exclusive accessories at random,” Sal Romano said in his report for Gematsu.
That sounds like a great addition to “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.” Getting to play as a raid boss against other players certainly has its appeal. Especially when you’re an overpowered villain taking on multiple opponents. Players should find out more about this “Crystal of the Dark Demon Realm” item once the My Raid Mode is added to the game. At the moment, V-Jump didn’t really share any details regarding the item, but gamers have speculated that it may give players additional abilities to help them fend off multiple opponents.
It’s interesting to note that Gematsu also mentioned that this mode is limited to some of the strongest characters in “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2,” so players probably won’t have a hard time using them in a one-versus-five battle. For now, Fused Zamasu, Demigra, and Mira are playable characters in My Raid Mode, but more may be added soon. In any case, whichever side ends up winning will get a much-deserved reward in the form of experience points, some Zenny, and event-exclusive accessories.
