“Dragon Ball FighterZ” is set to release its fourth and last character for its latest DLC content. While nothing has been confirmed so far, it appears that Xbox accidentally leaked who this mysterious fighter is during “This Week on Xbox,” Newsweek reported.
The web series talks about the latest and upcoming games in the console with “Dragon Ball FighterZ” being featured around the 3:10 mark of the clip. Nelson mentioned that GT Goku (Kid Goku) skins are now available and casually let slip Janemba as well.
Publisher Bandai or developer Arc System Works have never mentioned the antagonist of the “Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn” making his way into the game. So a casual mention of Janemba immediately caught the attention of the “Dragon Ball FighterZ” community. It remains to be seen if the horned villain will be received warmly by the players similar to what they’ve done with Kid Goku recently.
The pint-sized hero proved to be quite the addition for “Dragon Ball FighterZ” as his mobility alone provides a lot of creative playstyles for gamers to explore. His crouching special and Reverse Kamehameha are the two abilities that grant Kid Goku the ability to dash in, and out of dangerous situations, Kotaku reported.
He is best suited as a mid or anchor addition in order to take advantage of his power-up that grants him additional damage once his other teammates fall. It’s still unclear how Janemba will translate into “Dragon Ball FighterZ,” and it would be interesting to see what abilities Arc System Works has outfitted the powerful villain.
In the movie, Janemba has been portrayed as a reality-altering character capable of manipulating matter at will. He’s also able to phase in and out of a situation, vanishing from one point only to appear behind his enemies’ blind spots. Cloning, Dimensional Hole, and Dimension Sword Attacks are just some of Janemba’s abilities. As for when he’ll be added, there’s still no news about that matter. However, there are rumors that he may be dropping during E3 2019, which puts his release date on June 12.
