“Doctor Who” Season 11 Episode 2 is where the story of the current season truly picks up, with The Doctor (Jodie Whitaker) in her current incarnation regains some of her memories. In the next episode, they will be looking for her missing Tardis and this will result in the gang being accidentally sent to another planet. Will this be the franchise’s most exciting episode yet?
There’s no denying that “Doctor Who” has had its fair share of action scenes. However, there is just something about the trailer for “Doctor Who” Season 11 Episode 2 that makes it stand out. Not only does it depict a visually stunning environment and spacecraft, but it also depicts action reminiscent of other sci-fi shows. It could even be mistaken for “Stargate SG-1,” with the pacing of the scenes.
As Fansided points out, the companions of the current Doctor are only with her by accident. Leaving Earth was certainly not what they were expecting nor did they even consider going with her. In “Doctor Who” Season 11 Episode 2, they just won’t have a choice. This is a problem because the alien planet they are in is not the friendliest.
In the synopsis that Carter Matt posted on its website, it’s clear that The Doctor and her companions have more to worry about than the missing Tardis. With this season featuring a lot of firsts for the franchise, will “Doctor Who” Season 11 Episode 2 see an actual death of a companion? It would certainly make things much more interesting.
“Still reeling from their first encounter, can the Doctor and her new friends stay alive long enough in a hostile alien environment to solve the mystery of Desolation?” the synopsis reads.
“Doctor Who” Season 11 Episode 2 is scheduled to air on Oct. 14. Fans will want to stay tuned and find out how this season will turn out.
