‘Doctor Who’ season 10’s episode 4, titled “Knock Knock," will follow Bill as she moves into a massive rental house with six of her friends. However, things are not what they seem. The Doctor then helps them investigate the unusual activity and attacks from within the house.

The short synopsis for “Knock Knock” posted on TV Guide reads, “A sinister landlord shows Bill (Pearl Mackie) and her friends a seemingly perfect house-share, but things are not as perfect as they seem.”

Bill will be in for the surprise of her life when she rents a house with her friends. According to Metro, Bill and her companions will discover that they are sharing their rented house with other mysterious residents. It seems that Bill will be duped into living in the house after the landlord shows her the house’s seemingly perfect façade – not taking into account the horrifying creatures that may be living inside.

The promo opens to the landlord ushering in Bill and her friends into the massive house that resembles a castle. Even the Doctor (Peter Capaldi) is astounded by the sheer size of the communal structure. He asks Bill, “That’s your house?” She replies, “Sharing. Yeah. Six of us.”

When one of Bill’s friends asks the creepy landlord about the way to get to the tower, he warns, “You don’t.” The roommates then begin to experience unusual activity within the house and it seems that the Doctor will help them investigate as they grow more disturbing.

Soon, the roommates are hunted down one by one. By the end of the promo, the landlord declares that it’s finally time to pay since they all signed the contract.

‘Doctor Who’ season 10’s episode 4, titled “Knock Knock," is scheduled to air on BBC on May 6, 2017. It was directed by Bill Anderson and written by Mike Bartlett. It will be followed by episode 5, titled “Oxygen,” directed by Charles Palmer and written by Jamie Mathieson and scheduled to be released on May 13.
