“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” chapter 204 is expected to reveal the aftermath of the Demon Slayer Corps’ battle against Muzan. Unfortunately for fans, it won’t be released next week as there will be a one-week break for the manga series.
‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’ chapter 203 recap
The recent “Demon Slayer” manga chapter showed what happened to Tanjiro after he was injected with the drug by Kanao. Just as previous “Kimentsu no Yaiba” spoilers predicted, Tanjiro was actually still battling with Muzan inside his consciousness as the demon’s cells tried to take over his body.
However, Tanjiro’s longing to go home to his sister and friends never left him despite being partially transformed into a demon at that point. But Muzan, through his cells inside Tanjiro kept on discouraging the demon slayer. Perhaps if Tanjiro’s will gives up, it will be easier from Muzan’s cells to take over and completely transform Tanjiro into a demon.
“Your family is dead,” Muzan tried to convince Tanjiro to give up his struggle. “It’s just a place with buried bodies. What will you do if you go back?”
But Tanjiro remained steadfast in his desire to return home. He said that he still has fond memories with his parents and his bond with Nezuko won’t disappear.
Hearing about Nezuko, Muzan changed tactics and tried to discourage Tanjiro by telling a lie. “Nezuko is dead, I killed her,” the demon said. However, Tanjiro knew that it was just a lie.
Muzan tried a different approach by using guilt to convince Tanjiro to just give up. “Can’t you smell the blood of your comrades?” the demon said. “You did that… nobody wants you back.”
But Tanjiro still had a perfect response. “I want to go back to apologize to them,” he replied.
But from a different part of Tanjiro’s consciousness, a hand suddenly reached out for Tanjiro. “Onii-chan, let’s go back,” he heard Nezuko’s voice saying.
Muzan became alarmed and tried to convince Tanjiro to go back to his side. However, more arms reached out, which probably represents the bonds he had with his friends, and soon Muzan can do nothing but watch Tanjiro being taken away.
The pull numerous hands were collectively much stronger than Muzan. He can only watch as Tanjiro was taken away from his grasp and he soon crumbled to dust. At that moment, Tanjiro finally woke up.
‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’ chapter 204 release date and speculations
Unfortunately, it would be a long wait for fans before the “Demon Slayer” chapter 204 release date arrives. There will be no chapter release next week as the next installment will be arriving on May 10, 2020.
“Kimetsu no Yaiba” chapter 204 is expected to finally show Tanjiro’s reunion with his sister and his fellow member of the Demon Slayer Corps. It might also reveal which member survived and who perished in their last battle against the powerful demon.
Meanwhile, there are also talks that “Kimetsu no Yaiba” chapter 204 will be the climax of the series. Sadly, this might mean that the hit manga is about to end.
However, there are already speculations that there might be a “Kimetsu no Yaiba” sequel. According to reports, Tanjiro saw other powerful demons while he was unconscious, which could be the premise of the sequel’s plot.
