Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin are the latest Hollywood couple to be hit with pregnancy rumors. But the latest public sighting of the “Suspiria” actress might be her best response to dismiss these reports.
The former “Fifty Shades” star was photographed after a yoga class in Studio City. While this may sound quite uneventful, several reports took note that Johnson chose not to wear the sweatshirt hanging by her shoulder. Is this her subtle way of announcing she is not pregnant with Martin’s baby?
It is also important to note that the source of the pregnancy rumor earlier this week, TMZ, made a comment on Johnson’s outfit at the 2018 Global Citizen Festival — where Martin’s band, Coldplay, also performed. Despite her spokesperson’s statement denying the claims, the media outlet insinuated that the actress’s “very baggy” clothes at the event tell a different story.
Johnson and Martin seem to be some of the celebrities who prefer not to flash their relationship in public and even on social media platforms. So this subtle move might be the most direct response their fans can get.
TMZ’s report on Monday sparked the widely discussed pregnancy rumor after claiming that Johnson and Martin held a “gender reveal party” at the latter’s house the day before. The publication shared several photos showing some of the Hollywood personalities who attended the celebration. Arches of pink and blue balloons used to decorate the party venue were also photographed.
It was then assumed that Johnson and Martin organized a baby-related event. However, a representative of Johnson clarified that the event on Oct. 7 was just a birthday party. It makes sense, though, since the actress turned 29 last Oct 4.
It has been a year since the first reports about Johnson and Martin dating were released. Since then, the two have not yet been spotted walking down the red carpet together or publicly discussing their relationship. The actress also recently made it clear that, while she is happy, she does not like to discuss it out in the open.
