Daily Economic Outlook- 11 March 2015

Quotes from Lloyds Bank:

  • ECB will hold an extraordinary meeting or call this week, possibly as early as today, to review the ELA forGreece's banks.

  • ECB President Mario Draghi and Executive Board member Peter Praet, among others, are also due to speak at a conference in Frankfurt from 08:00GMT.

  • Swedish inflation figures for February are also due in the morning session, with annual CPI seen rising to 0.0% from -0.2% and underlying CPIF inflation increasing to 0.8% from 0.6%.

  • There are no major data releases scheduled in the US today, but the Fed is due to release the results of the second set of stress tests in the evening.

  • Finally, the Reserve Bank of New Zealand is expected to leave rates unchanged at 3.5% this evening, with a small risk of a cut.
