“Cyberpunk 2077” is set to take E3 2019 by storm as CD Projekt Red previously said that the conference would be a significant event for the gaming studio moving forward. As such, the game is one – if not – the most anticipated title during the gathering, with the majority of the excitement centered on yet another gameplay reveal, Gamespot reported.
Unfortunately, the “Cyberpunk 2077” development team will be the one who will be handling the controllers, and audiences will not have the opportunity to get hands-on experience during the conference. Be that as it may, audiences are still excited about the title since it’s the next output of Projekt Red.
The upcoming event is also speculated to reveal the release date of “Cyberpunk 2077.” While the previous rumors claimed that the RPG title would come out this year, it appears that the developers are pushing that date to 2020. The source of this information is Kotaku’s Jason Schreier, a well-regarded gaming journalist within the community, Digital Trends reported.
Of course, given that Projekt Red themselves hasn’t confirmed anything just yet, it’s best to remain skeptical for now. Regarding the expectations for the gameplay reveal of “Cyberpunk 2077,” audiences are eager to learn the abilities of the characters and the skill tree that players will choose from. Quest director Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz already said that the game will be quite different with what they’ve done with the “Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.”
“I think the new thing in [Cyberpunk 2077] and that takes it to the next level is the non-linearity of the gameplay, which we will realize when we play through the missions. Which means there are many ways to complete missions based on how you’ve created your character, tools you use, etc,” Tomaszkiewicz said.
With E3 2019 scheduled to take place from June 12 to June 14, the hype surrounding “Cyberpunk 2077” is becoming deafening by the day. Hopefully, substantial information will be provided by Projekt Red during the conference, especially if Schreier’s claims hold true.
