ATLANTA, March 22, 2018 -- JLT Specialty USA, a U.S. subsidiary of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group plc. (JLT), the leading global specialist risk advisor and broker, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jon Oppenheim as Partner to Construction Risk Partners.
The appointment is part of JLT’s continued investment into its construction specialty further supporting JLT’s partnership with Construction Risk Partners (CRP) last year.
Based in Atlanta, Oppenheim will be a key leader in the development of JLT’s national construction practice. He will primarily be responsible for leading CRP’s expansion into the Atlanta market and playing a leadership role in the development of our national construction practice.
Oppenheim brings to JLT over 25 years of insurance industry experience and has held a number of senior leadership and underwriting positions at various international brokerage firms and insurance carriers. He joins JLT from Houston International Insurance Group where he served as President, Chief Underwriting Officer for their Construction practice. Within this role, he focused on all facets of the national construction division activities including creation and adherence to underwriting protocols and regulatory compliance, staffing, marketing, product development, and service platform management.
