“World of Warcraft’s” latest expansion has been out for several days now and it has been garnering praise from critics and players alike. Now, Blizzard is adding more on top of the thousands of things that “WoW” players are doing with the “Legion” companion app. It basically allows players to stay in touch with the game even when they are away from their computers.
For the most dedicated players of the biggest MMORPG in the world, investing hundreds if not thousands of hours into the game is nothing new, Tech Times points out. This is just when they are sitting in front of their computers as well. With the “World of Warcraft: Legion Companion” app, Blizzard is increasing the amount of time that players are plugged into the game and how much it eats into their lives.
The app basically functions as a remote management platform, where players can organize their Order Hall tasks and interact with upgrades in the game. Players would even be able to do research, which is essential for improving artifacts in the game, as well as recruit and order followers around. So if players really wanted to, they can stay connected to “WoW” 24/7.
In related news, there is also something called a “Class Trials” in the game now, Gamespresso reports. These trials allow players to take the different classes available to them for a spin to find the one they like. Once they have decided on it, players could then apply the level 100 class boost.
During the trial itself, players will be guided by a trainer who will walk them through and allow them to become more familiar with the class that they are currently using during the event. Players should note that there is a time-limit to the trials, so it isn’t something to take lightly.
