Coinbase, a San Francisco-based leading bitcoin exchange and wallet service, has announced that users in Canada and Singapore can now instantly buy bitcoin and Ether using their debit and credit cards.
The move has come following Coinbase expansion to Australia on Tuesday, enabling Australian users to buy bitcoin and Ether using their debit and credit cards. According to the official blog post, although users can buy the digital currency, they cannot sell it. But the platform has plans to add the ability to sell the digital currency soon.
Users from Canada and Singapore, in order to get started, can visit the “Trade” page on Coinbase.com or tap on the “Buy” or “Sell” options in Coinbase iOS or Android apps. By doing so, they can add a credit or debit card and start buying the digital currency.
Founded in June of 2012, Coinbase is a digital currency wallet and platform where merchants and consumers can transact with new digital currencies like bitcoin and Ethereum.
