CLEARWATER, Fla., Feb. 08, 2018 -- On Sunday the 4th of February the Scientology Volunteer Ministers set out into the community with one task: clean up the neighborhood. For four consecutive weeks the Volunteer Ministers have taken the initiative in helping neighbors with community clean up after clean up, this time removing no less than 10 bags of trash from the neighborhood and holding true to their motto, “Something can be done about it.”

“The series of clean ups have been a tremendous success,” said Glendy Goodsell, Executive Director of the Volunteer Ministers Florida. “This resonates strongly with the local families and residents.”
A family’s lawn had garbage dumped on it from people passing by, and this was noticed by a roving group of Volunteer Ministers. The Ministers knocked on the front door asking if they could remove the litter. The family, surprised by such an offer, accepted and within minutes the property was refuse-free.
The Volunteer ministers plan to continue the program with future clean ups in the surrounding areas to promote the improvement in the Clearwater area.
For more information about the Scientology Volunteer Ministers or their upcoming activities, please call Glendy Goodsell at the Volunteer Minister Center (727) 467-6965.
