‘Chicago PD’ season 4’s episode 21, titled “Fagin,” will follow the team as they deal with an in-progress robbery. However, they will find that Detective Hailey Upton is attempting to take over the crime scene with her Robbery-Homicide unit. Meanwhile, Lindsay will be forced to make a critical decision that will lead to the exposure of the suspect behind the robberies.
The lengthy synopsis for episode 21 posted on TV Guide reads, “When the team is called to an in-progress bank robbery, they come across a Robbery-Homicide detective trying to take over the crime scene; and, as the robberies continue, Lindsay (Sophia Bush) makes a decision that unveils a surprising suspect behind the mask.
While working on the case at the district, Upton (guest star Tracy Spiridakos) is shocked to come across Platt (Amy Morton), who has a special connection to her past.”
The upcoming episode is set to follow the team as they deal with an in-progress bank robbery as they are called to the scene. However, they will find that Detective Hailey Upton will attempt to take over the crime scene together with her very own Robbery-Homicide unit.
Upton is set to get in conflict with Voight (Jason Beghe) in the process. Spiridakos’ character is set to recur over the final episodes of the season. She will be also be shocked to discover that Platt shares a connection to her past as she works on the case at the district.
Meanwhile, Lindsay will be pushed to make a spontaneous yet difficult decision as a string of robberies continue hounding the city. This will lead to a surprising reveal of a suspect behind the mask. According to Cartermatt, the new episode may prove to be another hurdle for Lindsay as she goes through life one difficulty after another.
'Chicago PD’ season 4’s episode 21, titled “Fagin,” is scheduled to air on NBC on May 3, 2017. It will be followed by episode 22, titled "Army of One," scheduled to be released on May 10.
