“Chicago Fire” season 7 episode 3 sets the tone for a major three-part crossover next week including “Chicago Med” and “Chicago P.D.” And based on official teasers, Firehouse 51 will immediately face an immense ordeal at the start of the movie-like TV event.

Next week’s episode is literally titled “Going to War,” which gives fans an inkling on what Firehouse 51 is about to face in “Chicago Fire” season 7 episode 3. The official synopsis reveals that the premise for the three-part crossover begins with an “out-of-control blaze” that will engulf a 15-story apartment complex in no time.

But the teaser for “Chicago Med’s” corresponding episode for crossover confirms that it is one of the people working in Firehouse 51 and Dr. Rhodes (Colin Donnell) will be the one to treat them. The teasers do not sound well, hinting that whoever caught fire will be fighting for their life.

Chicago P.D.” will end the crossover event next week, where it will be revealed that the life-threatening blaze in “Chicago Fire” season 7 episode 3 is not an accident. Synopses further hint that the fire is connected to “Chicago Med’s” Dr. Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss).
