Chart of the Day: Autumn downgrade

This chart from Financial Times shows the latest growth forecast from the chancellor of exchequer Phillip Hammonds from his autumn budget statement.

According to the government forecast, the UK economy is expected to expand by 1.4 percent in 2017. This is 0.8 percent downgrade from the March forecast. Growth is expected to recover to 2 percent  in 2019.
