Trenton, NJ, Sept. 28, 2017 -- Spectra by Comcast Spectacor today announced a new multi-year agreement with CURE Auto Insurance in which Mercer County’s 10,000-seat arena will immediately be renamed the CURE Insurance Arena. Terms of the deal were not announced.
The deal includes exterior and interior signage and brand recognition in all advertising for the facility. The arena’s website domain changed today to reflect the arena’s new name (www.cureinsurancearena.com). All signage is expected to be in place by December 31, 2017.
“CURE Auto Insurance is thrilled to form this partnership with Mercer County and become the naming rights sponsor of its arena,” said Eric Poe, Chief Operating Officer, CURE Auto Insurance. “Becoming the title sponsor was an easy decision to make, given the pride we have in the community of Mercer County.”
“CURE’s positive brand association resonates strongly throughout our community and will be helpful in generating excitement around the arena and our events,” said Spectra's Fran Rodowicz, General Manager, CURE Insurance Arena. “We are fortunate to collaborate with CURE and their valuable marketing prowess to help us cross-promote the arena.”
The venue’s new naming rights deal will coincide with exciting new entertainment coming to the arena, which includes platinum-selling country music star Justin Moore on February 23, 2018.
Spectra’s Partnerships division, which specializes in naming rights and sponsorship sales, identified and negotiated the naming rights contract with CURE Auto Insurance. In Trenton, Spectra also provides Venue Management and Food Services & Hospitality to the arena.
