Are Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga dating? Some tabloids reported that they are but this claim is far from the truth. The “A Star Is Born” co-stars are both happy with their respective partners and it was clarified that their relationship is purely platonic.
Gossip Cop debunked Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga’s dating rumors after checking the facts. The fact-checking site is sure that the report was a lie and noted that the actors only love each other as friends and nothing else. It added that the two “have a lot of mutual admiration and respect for one another.”
In any case, Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga’s movie, “A Star Is Born” has been reclassified and received a new rating from New Zealand’s movie classification board. It was said that the film received a warning after two teenagers in NZ were triggered after watching a suicide scene in the film.
According to The Guardian, Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga’s film originally got an M-rating which means it is for mature audiences. It also carries a descriptor stating “Unrestricted, suitable for 16 years and over."
The rating also notes “sex scenes, offensive language and drug use" in its warning notice but this seems to be not enough. After receiving complaints, “A Star Is Born” still carries the M-rating but the word “suicide” was added to its warning footnote.
“Many people in New Zealand have been impacted by suicide,” NZ’s head of film classification office, David Shanks, said in a statement. “For those who have lost someone close to them, a warning gives them a chance to make an informed choice about watching.”
Meanwhile, Variety reported that Lady Gaga and Sean Penn will honor Bradley Cooper at the American Cinematheque. The ceremony will take place in Beverly Hills, California later this month.
