Boruto and the rest of Team 7 and Team 10 will be assigned to guard a couple of celebrities, which will lead them to meet their new enemies in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 67. Meanwhile, another focus on the next anime episode is Chocho’s budding love life.
The brief preview of “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 67 is centered on Boruto’s next task of being the security detail for the “handsome actor” Tomaru and his co-star and onscreen girlfriend, Ashina. By the end of the short teaser, it was revealed that the next episode will open Chocho’s arc focused on her finding romance.
Tomaru and Ashina received a death threat, which is why Team 7 (Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki) and Team 10’s (Inojin, Shikadai, and Chocho) were assigned to a joint mission to guard them. What seemed like a relatively easy task will turn out to be an action-packed “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 67.
The identities of the Tomaru and Ashina’s attackers are still under wraps. But a teaser poster showed that they are going to be six ninjas hiding their faces with gas masks. According to the teaser (translations courtesy of Reddit user OrganicDinosaur), the unknown enemies will storm the actors’ set while filming a photoshoot scene.
Meanwhile, fans may also not recognize Chocho right away in the teaser poster. Chocho is drawn with a slimmer figure for “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 67. According to reports, Chocho will become conscious about her body and her new body figure is likely the result of the Akimichi clan’s butterfly transformation technique.
Coincidentally, Chocho meets Tomaru while she is on their mission. Part of the same teaser image for “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 67 reads, “However, she’s completely fallen in love with the handsome actor, Tomaru, who’s the subject of their guard-mission.”
“Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 67 now seems to be the beginning of Chocho’s arc, where fans will see the character falling in love. But whether or not she will have a romantic relationship with the handsome actor is still to be confirmed in the following episodes. But the synopsis for episode 68 already hints that maybe Chocho will spend more happy episodes with Tomaru.
Meanwhile, “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 67 is slated to air on Aug. 2. No delays are expected, so episode 68 is likely to follow on Aug. 9.
