“Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” chapter 29 is expected to drop this month. With a few more weeks remaining, fans are coming up with very interesting plot theories, especially about Kashin Koji.
The events in the latest chapter give the impression that Naruto will be around Kawaki most of the time in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” chapter 29. This means Koji’s task of bringing back Kawaki to the Kara will be tricky, which might force him to improvise.
Fans suggest that, instead of grabbing Kawaki, Koji ends up kidnapping Naruto’s son in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” chapter 29. Unlike Kawaki, Boruto is not guarded by the Hokage so getting him out of Konoha sounds like a better plan for Koji and Delta.
Redditor u/Sinkarma adds that Boruto could be used as bait in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” chapter 29 to force Konoha in surrendering Kawaki. Since Naruto is unlikely to give in to that demand, there are also speculations that Sasuke will save Boruto by raiding the Kara hideout. Since Sasuke is working on learning the objectives of the Kara, it is not too far-fetched to think that he might get involved in this mission.
Meanwhile, “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” chapter 29 is expected to focus on Koji and his background. So if any of his rumored Jiraiya connections are accurate, it might be confirmed in this installment.
Chapter 28 ended with a huge cliffhanger and led some fans to speculate that “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” chapter 29 might reveal Koji’s link to Jiraiya. Delta and Koji arrived at the gates of Konoha but the latter was oddly familiar with its present security system. But the fact that Koji passed through the borders without alerting anyone was even more interesting. It means that his chakra is registered in the country and he is someone who used to live there.
Koji’s knowledge about Konoha’s security system is one of the clues that fans rely on for this theory. Meanwhile, Kawaki is proof that the Kara specializes in altering a human body and use them as combatants. This leads to the theory that Jiraiya might have been saved by the Kara and was brainwashed to serve their cause. This is one of the major plot points to look forward to in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” chapter 29, which is slated to come out on Nov. 26.
