‘Blockchain for Wall Street’, an annual event from the Wall Street Blockchain Alliance, will be held on 29th November 2016 at New York Law School that will present insights and perspectives of the distributed ledger age in the financial markets.
The event will have an educational program, providing an unparalleled opportunity to learn firsthand, how to play a part in the roll out of blockchain and smart contract approaches on Wall Street and in the financial markets. The companies taking part in the event include AlphaPoint, Capgemini, Cloudsoft, Hyperledger Project, INFURA from ConsenSys, Synechron, among others.
‘Blockchain for Wall Street’ will have a keynote panel on ‘Killer Blockchain Apps for the Financial Markets’ followed by panels on ‘Financial Markets Smart Contracts - Implementing Legally Sound, Predictable and Secure Processes’, ‘Making the Right Blockchain Choices for Financial Markets Applications’, among others.
The conference will see expert speakers from the blockchain industry including Ron Quaranta, Chairman of Wall Street Blockchain Alliance; Pete Harris, Principal of Lighthouse Partners; Emmanuel Aidoo, Director of Blockchain & Cryptocurrency Strategy at Credit Suisse; Chris Burniske, Blockchain Products Lead at ARK Investment Management; to name few.
The event will also feature a technology showcase by Synechron. There will be live demos featuring Synechron’s six blockchain accelerators (working applications using Ethereum, Hyperledger, and Ripple) for trade finance, KYC utilities, insurance, margin calls, payments, and mortgages.
