Celebrities get their fair share of haters, it’s just the way the cookie crumbles in the entertainment industry. Many of these famous figures simply choose to ignore the negative elements in their careers while others choose to use that hate to fuel their rise to the top. In the case of the Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani couple, however, the response is to simply troll them with a bit of social media fun.
Not being subtle about the message they are trying to send at all, the musical couple recently sent out a tweet with the two kissing while holding a box of fireworks. The box has what looks to be a photoshopped label that reads “Publicity Stunt,” which is already a clear poke at their critics. For the icing on the cake, the Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani pair also used the hashtag #haters and the middle finger emoji.

As sending messages goes, this is not the least subtle example out there, but it’s also hilarious in many respects. It doesn’t involve too much drama, which is the case with many other famous people in similar situations. At the same time, it also gets the point across. This certainly scores a point for the Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani team.
The celebrity couple is still relaxing in Oklahoma, as of writing, enjoying a much needed R&R period. As One Country notes, this response to their critics has also earned more accolades and love from Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani fans. It’s always funny when celebrities acknowledge that there are those who are not particularly happy with the fact that they are happy.
Perhaps one day, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani critics can simply leave the two alone instead of constantly criticizing each and every time they show affection for each other. For now, though, those who love the singing couple can enjoy sassy posts like this.
