Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are supposedly going to announce their engagement soon. What’s more, the country singer is allegedly going “all out” for his three-year girlfriend.
As Hollywood Life (via Celebrity Insider) would have it, Blake Shelton is apparently planning to propose to Gwen Stefani in a big way. An unnamed source of the outlet purports that The “Turnin’ Me On” crooner is trying to make everything perfect as he’s fallen so deeply with the songstress.
“[Blake Shelton] has been thinking about the perfect ring, the perfect timing, whether or not he will get on one knee and the perfect wording to ask Gwen [Stefani] to spend the rest of her life with him. Blake has been thinking about all of it and is excitedly waiting for the most romantic moment to change their lives forever. Blake and Gwen have definitely discussed marriage and how they would plan their wedding, but the fact that Gwen isn’t pressuring Blake one bit to rush into things only makes him want to marry her that much more,” the insider gushed.
A similar claim is being put forward by In Touch magazine (via Gossip Cop) with the publication claiming that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton will be announcing the engagement “soon.” Having said all of these, readers should take both claims with heavy skepticism as Hollywood Life and In Touch magazine have a reputation to fabricate stories.
For instance, In Touch weekly published an article last September claiming that Gavin Rossdale is supposedly jealous about the bond that Blake Shelton has with his three sons. What’s true about the narrative is that Rossdale and Gwen Stefani went through a custody battle, with the country singer staying away from the legal proceedings.
Meanwhile, Hollywood Life also released a fabricated story this month purporting that Gwen Stefani is having second thoughts about marrying Blake Shelton. That proved to be incorrect as well since the “No Doubt” vocalist has time and again said that Shelton is “the one.”
In conclusion, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are not announcing an engagement any time soon. The couple seems perfectly happy with what they have at the moment and there’s still no sign that they’re planning to change that status in the near future.
