Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have been involved in a number of breakup rumors already but they appear to still be together. But, has the country singer really dumped the “Hollaback Girl” singer before?
InTouch Weekly reported that yes, he did. It is alleged that Blake Shelton ditched Gwen Stefani prior to his performance tour in February. The tabloid claimed that that the latter is not taking their separation well.
“Gwen doesn’t know what hit her. She’s heartbroken,” a source allegedly told InTouch.
It added that the cause of the breakup was jealousy and Blake Shelton is already fed up with his girlfriend. “Blake’s through with Gwen’s neediness and all the drama: her demanding, critical ex-husband and her jealousy of him and other women."
The breakup rumors got intense recently when it was reported that Blake Shelton does not want to have kids with Gwen Stefani. The singer is said to have changed his mind but upon closer inspection, it seems that Blake is just not ready and currently he is just content with being Stefani’s kids' stepfather.
In other words, Blake decided that he does not want to have to have any children, since he is already a dad to Kingston, 12, Zuma, 9 and Apollo, 4, and he loves every minute of it. Further, the 42-year-old singer feels complete with just Gwen’s three kids around him.
“Blake has had constant thoughts of being a father, and when it gets to a fever pitch, he brings himself back to earth and decides against it,” a source told Hollywood Life. “The reason for that is that he has his hands full with Gwen’s kids and he is enjoying how that is going. The freedom of his career is a big deterrent as well.”
Apparently, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are still very much together. They are enjoying their time together as parents to Gavin Rossdale’s kids and in the future, the time may come that Blake will finally decide to have his own kids with the girlfriend that he loves so much.
