Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefan are still going strong despite numerous speculations that they are on the verge of calling it quits. As a matter of fact, the “God Gave Me You” country singer often expresses his love for his 48-year-old girlfriend through social media.
However, despite this, it was reported that Blake Shelton has changed his mind about having a baby with Gwen Stefani. It was alleged that the 42-year-old singer does not want a child with his GF anymore and this was because he realized he is not ready to be a parent.
According to Hollywood Life, Blake Shelton had a change of heart. He had been voicing out that he could not wait to have his own children with Gwen but he allegedly changed his tune now.
The magazine stated that it seems that Miranda Lambert’s ex got a wake-up call and it’s from Gwen’s kids with Gavin Rossdale. This was said to be his reason but it is in a good way.
“Blake has had constant thoughts of being a father and when it gets to a fever pitch, he brings himself back to earth and decides against it,” an insider reportedly told HL. “The reason for that is that he has his hands full with Gwen’s kids and he is enjoying how that is going.”
Gwen Stefani has three children with ex-husband Gavin, namely Kingston, 12, Zuma, 9 and Apollo, 4. Although Blake Shelton admitted that it was difficult at first, he eventually got closer to the kids and he has nothing to say but just good things about them. He even once said that he actually “fell in love with them.”
The magazine further reported that another thing that is holding Blake Shelton back from having his own kids is his career.
“The freedom of his career is a big deterrent as well,” a source reportedly said. “He knows certain preparations would have to be made especially if he wanted Gwen’s child.”
Meanwhile, Blake Shelton’s lady love Gwen Stefani is currently on tour. Her recent performances in Las Vegas have been a big hit. According to a report by Pollstar, the “Hollaback Girl” raked in $5.5 million during the tour's opening. She is set to continue her tour in December and it will go on until March 2019.
