The Shire Free Church that launched bitcoin vending machines in Keene and Manchester, in the state of New Hampshire in the U.S., has now started a bitcoin local radio advertisement campaign in the city of Keene.
According to reports by Free Keene, the ad campaign “It’s Keene to buy local” empowers the owners of local businesses to keep more from each sale, than sending three percent outside of the area to credit card companies. The campaign starts on October 10 and its budget is directly sourced from bitcoin vending machines.
The first ad series specifically mentions several local mom-and-pop businesses that accept bitcoins at no cost to those businesses. The first advertisement campaign will start immediately and the second will be put in rotation. The first ad will be an introduction to bitcoin for the customers of Keene area and the second aims at local business owners.
The advertisements will heard only on “The Peak” (with frequencies 101.9 WKKN-FM Keene, 100.7 WTHK-FM Wilmington, VT, and 104.7 W284AB Jamaica, VT) as of now due to budget constraints. Listeners will be able to hear the Bitcoin ads multiple times from 3p-6a, seven days a week.
