With “Breaking Bad” being one of the most popular crime thrillers to have ever hit the small screen in history, it’s only natural for there to be a hunger to see the characters return. With “Better Call Saul” Season 5 finally arriving at around the same timeline as its predecessor, many are hoping that this would be the case. The showrunners themselves seem quite eager to see a crossover.
Among those who seem to be the most desperate to see the return of the characters of “Breaking Bad” is co-creator Vince Gilligan. “Better Call Saul” Season 5 moves the show’s timeline ever closer to when Walter White (Bryan Cranston) and Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) met Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk). With this being the case, it might make sense to actually bring back the iconic pair.
If this ever does happen, it’s going to blow up the fandom. Heisenberg’s iconic wit on display once again for even a moment is something that viewers have been desperate to see for a long time. With “Better Call Saul” Season 5, this might become a reality, but fans should not get their hopes up. For starters, there has not been any confirmation that this is going to be the case.
Neither Bryan Cranston nor Aaron Paul has said anything about making an appearance in “Better Call Saul” Season 5. In all likelihood, this dream of a crossover is only going to stay as just that; a dream. It would be one heck of a treat for the fans if it ever was made a reality, though.
As for when “Better Call Saul” Season 5 will actually be dropping, fans can expect the show to return around fall of 2019. The season is still in development right now so there is still hope for Walter White to appear briefly in the show.
