Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophia Hunter’s is on the rocks according to reports. The couple is said to be considering divorce now as the former is so busy with his works that he already forgot about his family. The “Avengers: Endgame” actor is accused of neglecting his wife and children due to his workload that eats most of his time, so his marriage is suffering.
As per OK! Magazine, Cumberbatch may be making a lot of money from his Marvel movies and other gigs but unfortunately, he has no time left for his family, and this is causing a big problem with his wife. While it is good that he has a lot of work these days, his home life is also hurting because of this.
“He’s been getting the kinds of offers that he can’t possibly pass up,” the tipster said. “He’s pulling in a fortune and has more Marvel movies planned, in addition to his usual roster of high-end dramas, but it means a lot of time away from his family.”
Now, this report about Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter’s divorce is totally false. In fact, the actor and his wife attended the 2019 Met Gala together, and this took place just last month in New York. The Daily Mail reported that the couple arrived walking hand in hand as they walked down the red carpet. The “Avengers: Endgame” star dons a full white three-piece suit complemented by a fedora and stylish staff while his wife looks glamorous in billowing lilac gown with a long train.
Judging by their actions and closeness, they are still in love with each other. There is not even a single trace that they are having troubles as a couple. Their faces said it all; they are happy together and are not heading for divorce soon or in the near future.
In the false Cumberbatch divorce rumor, it was mentioned that the actor signed up for a new project, a movie titled “The Power of the Dog” and he will star with Elisabeth Moss. The report stated that this new gig further hurt his marriage because more work means lesser time with the family.
It should be noted that while Benedict Cumberbatch’s film with Moss is correct, his divorce from Hunter is not true. Meanwhile, “The Power of the Dog” will be released in 2021 in cinemas and Netflix, as per Variety.
