Ben Affleck and Shauna Sexton are getting married soon? It was said that the 46-year-old “Batman” star is marrying his rumored 22-year-old girlfriend, Shauna Sexton, inside the rehabilitation facility where he is currently admitted and getting therapy for his alcohol addiction.
As per the National Enquirer, Ben Affleck is so in love with his much younger GF and he is planning to marry her soon. And since he is currently in the rehab, they will reportedly have the ceremony and celebration there.
The tabloid went on to state that Jennifer Garner’s ex is so smitten that he does not want to delay things. Likewise, the paper wrote that the father of three is “totally besotted” with Shauna Sexton despite his ongoing rehab stint to combat his issues with alcohol.
“Ben’s head over heels in love with Shauna and sees her as definite marriage material,” an insider supposedly told National Enquirer. “He’s anxious to hurry up and get his divorce finalized so he can marry her and they can start the rest of their lives together.”
It was claimed that Ben’s friends fully support his decision to wed Shauna and said that there is nothing wrong with it. The tipster added, “He wants her to be the next Mrs. Affleck as soon as possible. In fact, it wouldn’t surprise anyone if he just went ahead and eloped any day now.”
Gossip Cop does not agree with the report and stated that it is only a concocted tale. For one, Ben Affleck cannot get married yet since his divorce from Jennifer Garner has not been finalized. In other words, he is still legally married to the mother of his three kids, Violet, 12, Seraphina, 9, and Samuel, 6.
The judge handling Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s divorce case even threatened to dismiss the proceedings due to the lack of action from both sides. Their divorce has been filed for more than a year now but it can’t be finalized yet for the stated reason. Consequently, neither of the two can get married anytime soon.
