Ben Affleck and Lindsay Shookus have apparently called it quits after officially dating for more than a year, People reported. A source told the magazine that the two separated in an amicable way, although the “Batman” actor seems to have moved on quite rapidly following their split.
According to People, Ben Affleck was seen going out with 22-year old Playboy model Shauna Sexton recently. Lindsay Shookus has yet to comment on this new development but it’s safe to say that she isn’t amused that Affleck has moved on pretty quickly after they called it quits.
As for Jennifer Garner, she allegedly doesn’t care whom Ben Affleck is dating, Us magazine reported. What the “Alias” alum wants from her ex-partner is for him to work on his sobriety in order for him to successfully co-parent their three growing children. Affleck and Lindsay Shookus had been dating for more than a year before news broke out that their relationship didn’t work.
Ben Affleck’s date with Shauna Sexton occurred just one day after “The Town” actor celebrated his 46th birthday. During that time, he spent most of the day with his children and close friends. Lindsay Shookus wasn’t spotted in the gathering as Jennifer Garner already told Ben she didn’t want Shookus near their kids.
This request has been honored by Ben Affleck so far. As for Shauna Sexton, the Playboy model apparently went on a second date with Affleck three days after their first one. Sources told People that the two were spotted at a Jack in the Box drive-thru, where they ordered fries and went back to his place. Ben’s decision of calling it quits with Lindsay Shookus allegedly stemmed from their long-distance relationship.
Lindsay Shookus' home is in New York, while Ben Affleck is staying over in L.A. This summer, the SNL producer spent time with Affleck in L.A. where the two were seen multiple times. However, Affleck and Shookus were last spotted together in July. Both camps have yet to comment on the alleged breakup but videos online have confirmed that Affleck was indeed seen with the 22-year-old playboy model.
