Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are reportedly fighting again. The former married couple may be officially divorced, but there are rumors that the “Batman” actor still constantly asked his ex-wife for some money and this is creating a rift between them.
As per Star Magazine via (Gossip Cop), Affleck and Garner engaged in an intense confrontation outside of a church in Los Angeles just last month, and it was learned that they have been fighting over money. But then again, it is surprising to know that it does not involve big money but just “loose change” for parking, tithes in church, and even coffee.
“Ben’s constantly asking Jen for cash, which she thinks is ludicrous,” the so-called tipster shared. “He always needs a handout for parking, coffee, even the church contribution.”
The insider further revealed that this usually happens because Ben Affleck does not carry cash with him when he goes out and rarely, when he does, he spends them immediately. This habit reportedly upsets Jennifer Garner so much, and she is not very willing to give him money because other than it is annoying, she is also worried that her ex-husband will use it to buy alcoholic drinks.
“Jen is hesitant to give money to her ex-husband as she is worried he will use it to buy booze instead, given his history of alcohol addiction,” the source alleged. “Sobriety has been difficult, but she finally told him, ‘I’m not giving you any more money!’”
Now, Gossip Cop refuted this story because it is filled with suspicious details. First, the fact-checking site pointed out that Ben Affleck is worth more than $100 million, and that is enough to say that he does not need financial help from others. Secondly, if Ben and Jennifer fought outside the church, then how did the witness know that the actor has been asking his ex-wife for money “frequently?”
The news is totally false, and in fact, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s relationship has been better today more than ever. They co-parent and even go to church together. The ex-couple also go on trips and attend their kids’ activities, and they genuinely have fun together even if they are already divorced.
