Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner broke up in 2015 after being married for 10 years. The former power couple formally announced their intention to divorce in June 2015. In April 2017, they filed legal documents for joint physical and legal custody of their three children, namely Violet, Seraphina and Samuel.
The divorce announcement came after Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were rumored to be having issues with their marriage. There was even a time when they already quit being together but Ben still lived in their home and they just had separate rooms.
In any case, Ben already found new love with Lindsay Shookus while Garner remained single. She once shared that she is not interested in dating anymore.
Now, various media outlets reported that Ben Affleck’s relationship with Shookus has become serious already and he wants to marry her soon. However, Jen is rumored to be holding him back, so Ben is begging her to finalize their divorce so he can move on.
However, Gossip Cop debunked this rumor. According to the publication, Life & Style reported that Ben is tired of waiting for his ex-wife to legally end their marriage.
“He has made it clear to Jen that unless the divorce is finalized by September, he’d have no choice but to arrange a court date,” Gossip Cop quoted the source as saying.
Everyone knows that Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck remained good friends even if they are not together anymore. The mere fact that the pair has always been spotted together with their kids is a clear proof of this. Gossip Cop also pointed out that the exes’ relationship is actually progressing nicely so the rumors are not true at all.
Meanwhile, as if to disprove the rumors, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were recently spotted in New York City with their kids. The family spent quality time together as they watched “Hello Dolly,” Page Six reported.
